The films:



PEANUT MAN – Directed by Jack Truman

PEANUT MAN is a 3 minute documentary short film about the life of legendary innovator, scientist, teacher and inventor George Washington Carver, also known as the Peanut Man. The first known American black scientist, PEANUT MAN is a story about a man born into slavery who revolutionized the world with the peanut.



PICKIN' & TRIMMIN' – Directed by Matt Morris

PICKIN' & TRIMMIN' is a documentary short film about the untold history of an independently owned barbershop in Drexel, North Carolina. The Barbershop is not only a place to get a trim and a clean shave, but also a gathering place for blue grass musicians to practice, play and reminisce. A heartwarming real-life story about how a small town barbershop can influence the lives of so many.




LITTLE HORSES – Directed by Levi Abrino

LITTLE HORSES is a narrative short film about Dave, a divorced small town postal worker that tries to win his family back by getting his son a pony for his 8th birthday.



MONDO'S SEARCH FOR THE SUN – Directed by Jana Prchalova

An animated short film about an old man embarking on a surreal quest, needing first to discover the key to his own heart before he can find the sun.



ECLAT DU JOUR (Daybreak) – Directed by Ian Lagarde

In a Montreal suburb, Xavier and his friends are dealing with pre-teen boredom. They hang out at the park, ride their bikes, mess with each other; it's another suburban summer afternoon. But beneath the smiles lies a growing tension, a certain violence which leads the group to a collective release of unexpected intensity; a ritualistic initiation into adolescence.



PUNCHES & PEDICURES – Ash Brandon

PUNCHES & PEDICURES is a narrative short film about Vietnamese immigrant Victor, who escaped a life of gang activity by relocating to the rural town of Defiance, Ohio. Now the owner of his own business, he aims to help trouble youth from making the same mistakes he once made. He does so by teaching the disciplined sport of Mixed Martial Arts, in one of the most delicate of places.




JIM MORRIS: LIFELONG FITNESS – Directed by Ryan Vance


A documentary short film about a 78 year old vegan bodybuilder.
